Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
Recipe Ingredients:
- 250 Patagonian squid
- 400 grams of mixed seafood
- 150 grams of squid rings
- 150 grams of peeled prawns
- 6 whole prawns
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- saffron or a dye containing saffron
- thyme
- 2 fish stock cubes
Recipe Instructions: Recipe instructions: Wash the shellfish and cut the Patagonian squid into smaller pieces. Pour the oil into the pan and add the whole prawns, then fry them. When they are ready, remove them and fry the rest of the shellfish in the same oil. Meanwhile, finely chop a small head of onion and 2 cloves of garlic. When the seafood is fried, add the onion, garlic and a little saffron or the colorant that contains saffron, then add a little water and two cubes of fish stock, season with thyme.
Cook until the squid is tender (about 20 minutes). Add the fideuá and mix. After a few minutes reduce the heat and add the whole prawns. When the water evaporates a little, remove it from the heat and cover it with aluminum foil for about 5-10 minutes. At the restaurant you will get less seafood and more pasta fideuá but I really like shrimp so I added a little more.
