Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo of beef or pork
  • 3 large onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin oil
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes 800 grams
  • half a glass of white wine
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Recipe Instructions: Heat the oil in a pot. Add the chopped meat and fry for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, grate the onion and garlic on a small mesh on a coarse grater. After about 10 minutes, add the grated onion and garlic. Stir everything, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, wine, a little water, spices, bay leaf and mix everything. Cook the meat until tender for about 40 minutes. If necessary, you can add water after some time. Serve with fries, bread or mashed potatoes.
